GE Olympics
The world’s leading digital industrial company
GE traces its beginnings to Thomas A. Edison, who established Edison Electric Light Company in 1878, then in 1892, a merger of two companies created General Electric Company.
Although the companies headquarters are based in America, the UK is a big market for GE and its business stretches over 60 major sites providing employment for around 20,000 people across five key divisions of: Oil and Gas, Aviation, Healthcare, Transportation and Capital, which in turn cater to the needs of Financial services, Medical devices, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Software Development and Engineering industries - to move, power, build and cure the world.
As a worldwide Olympic Partner, local Paralympic sponsor and Sustainability Partner of London 2012, GE required a high quality publication to celebrate their involvement in delivering more than 100 projects across the venues at the games.
Using high quality photographic images that reflected GE’s state of the art digital imaging equipment and punchy text the book served as a valuable tool to publicise GE’s involvement and sponsorship in London 2012.
