GE

Energising communities through the workforce

GE traces its beginnings to Thomas A. Edison, who established Edison Electric Light Company in 1878, then in 1892, a merger of two companies created General Electric Company.

Although the company’s headquarters are based in America, the UK is a big market for GE and its business stretches over 60 major sites providing employment for around 20,000 people across five key divisions of: Oil and Gas, Aviation, Healthcare, Transportation and Capital, which in turn cater to the needs of Medical devices, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Software development, Engineering industries and Financial services.

GE’s business strategy is to be the world’s leading digital industrial company and to transform industry by connecting people, data and machines.

"I have been working with the team at Creative Edge for over 10 years and have found that they are very quick to interpret my brief and bottom out our requirements. They understand and work with the GE brand guidelines, always deliver on time and are very creative."

Rosalind Munro - Head of Community Investment, GE UK & Ireland
